McIntyre’s Saloon Bar

Steeped in tradition, McIntyre’s Bar is a cornerstone of Ballyshannon’s history. Established in the early 20th century, this pub is famed for its warm atmosphere, meticulous decor, and Saturdays only schedule. Still family-owned, you may find it open during local events.

The interior reflects its long history, with vintage photographs and curios lining the walls. McIntyre’s hosts music sessions but you’ll need to plan ahead, as they’re usually open Saturday nights only.
