Finn McCool’s

Finn McCool’s is a traditional Irish bar located in the heart of the town, near the downtown triangle called The Gables. Finn McCool was a legendary hero of Irish mythology, known for battling monsters and creating the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. Unlike that larger-than-life character, this pub is one of the smallest in town.

It’s a cozy place on a rainy day and there’s often a good crowd of locals. If it’s sunny, there’s a bench and picnic table out front.

Music is common here, which various artists on the weekend. There is a full bar, with the usual taps, and a jukebox.

A red storefront with a sign reading “Finn McCool’s” on a white building hints at a cozy Ireland pub. Donegal flags hang above, and a wooden bench sits in front on the sidewalk.
